Eight finalists for the 2014 – 2015 Design Challenge to “Enable Personal Mobility across the Lifespan” have been announced! Tideswell at UCSF is a co-sponsor of the Stanford Center on Longevity’s Design Challenge which seeks to find innovative solutions to issues related to longer lives, and encourage designers to become engaged in creating these solutions. The finalists will be awarded $1,000 to develop their designs further before presenting them to companies and investors on April 9th, 2015. Dr. Christine Ritchie, Director of Tideswell, will be serving as a judge at this event, where the finalists will be competing for a $10,000 first prize.
