Caring for Older Adults in Safety Net Settings_Chodos “To diagnose [dementia] early is to give people a chance to be a part of planning for the future in a very meaningful way,” says Dr. Anna Chodos, UCSF geriatrician, in The California Report’s Vital Signs podcast.  Yet Dr. Chodos explains that she often sees people with dementia who have fallen through the cracks because warning signs were missed.  “If dementia is caught early, friends, family and social services can rally to keep the affected person in her home for as long as possible.”  Click here to listen to the podcast.
